We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new websites and logos for Novalis Trust, Cotswold Chine School, William Morris College and Paradise House.

Although our previous websites and logos served us well, we realised that the time had come for an update to reflect all the changes that have occurred across Novalis Trust over recent years, not least our merger with William Morris College in 2019.

We worked with Jon Ogborne of Eatcake Design in Bristol who came up with some really creative ideas for visually representing who we are as an organisation.  We decided to go with the double leaf logo design that Jon created.  Inspired by a William Morris design, we particularly like the fact it conveys the importance we place on the natural environment.  Another reason for choosing the double leaf design is because it works really well in allowing each of our organisations to achieve a consistent yet distinctive look through the use of different colours.

For the websites, we worked with marketing expert Sophie Welsman of Rubber Shirt along with local website design and marketing agency Squarebird who went to work on designing and building some great new websites for us.  The brief was to come up with colourful and vibrant websites which are engaging, informative and responsive.  We think they’ve done a great job.  Here are just some of the improvements the new websites bring:

  • The structure of the websites has been redesigned to make them more user-friendly and to make it easier and quicker for you to find the information you are after.
  • The content has been rewritten to make it easier to read and to include much more information about who we are and what we offer.
  • The new colour scheme and images make the websites look more modern and visually appealing.
  • The websites link in with Novalis Trust’s social media accounts to provide easy access to our latest updates and posts.
  • The new design is now fully responsive and suitable for browsing on your desktop PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

We hope you love the new websites and logos as much as we do.  As always, we welcome any feedback so please let us know what you think.
